    “生如夏花”出自印度诗人泰戈尔《飞鸟集》第82首。英文原文是:"Let life be beautiful like summer flowers And Death like autumn leaves." 郑振铎译为“使生如夏花之绚烂，死如秋叶之静美”。

巧合的是，由朴树作曲、作词，张亚东编曲、制作，朴树演唱的一首歌曲《生如夏花》唱响中国大江南北。被众多音乐人翻唱。当然，此《生如夏花》非彼《生如夏花》。

  下面这首诗被误传为泰戈尔作品，实则并不是，高度怀疑为某天涯网友的作品，他注明了是为祝贺朴树的即将发行的同名新专辑，并受泰戈尔那句诗的启发写成的。
